I came across a blog today that totally inspired me. So much that i had to share! This is my favorite post of her that i have read so far.

I never had Bieber Fever but i may now after I came across this today. I must admit he sounds pretty darn good. I think you will have Bieber fever too after you CHECK IT OUT!
I know i haven't posted in a long time and I said i was going to post more often in my last blog. This time i promise to post more. My blog will be really random i tell ya. I'll post anything i feel like ranging from celeb gossip, hauls, makeup, music, fashion, hair, coupons, sales, food etc. All i am saying sit down, grab some popcorn while i bombard you with new blogs.

I know i haven't posted for a LONG time and i honestly have no excuse for doing so. I just need to get over whatever is holding me back from just posting whatever i feel like. So from now on, i promise to put some more time and effort to my blog and break away from whatever is holding me back. Stay tuned, there's some greatness to come . :)
I just stumbled across this video on Youtube and thought i'd share. I actually like this video because it reminds me of the old Rihanna back in the "unfaithful" days when she wasn't so emo/dark and crazy ( Love her anyway). She is more subtle in this video compared to S&M , Disturbia etc. I loved the song prior to the release of the video and i love the video too. Check it out and let me know what you think :)
I think NOT! Hahaha! This is a pure and utter mess. I just heard this song today and couldn't help but laugh and share the fun. At least she tried but she failed miserably and i hope she doesn't do anymore singing because she is hard to listen to. I don't think its so much her voice that's hard to listen to in my opinion but the song just seems like a waste of time. I will stop ranting and leave the decision to you guys.

Reb'l Fleur ( Rebelle Fleur), is a french phrase that translates to Rebel Flower; the name of Rihanna's new fragrance. Like many of you know a bunch of celebrities have their own fragrance e.g. Britney Spears, Usher, Sean John (Diddy), Halle Berry, Beyonce, Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwen Stefani etc...
I personally was never a perfume girl, I spray on anything i see around and i am good to go. Now that has kind of changed. Certain fragrances have a smell that irk me. If i can remember clearly, Fragrance Diamonds &Sapphires by Elizabeth Taylor is one of them. My hatred for it probably arose from people spraying too much of it ( and saturating a small area with the smell, like being in the elevator with them) or me just realizing that i don't really like "sweet" smelling perfumes? Nonetheless, there are some perfumes that i am familiar with and i actually like. Like Love by Gwen Stefani Harajuku Lovers, Brit by Burberry and Lola by Marc Jacobs.
Now back to Reb'l Fleur. Rihanna has gone a long way since her music career took off in 2005. She has had many No. 1 hits, has a very large fan base and her style i find impeccable. Her nails are always on point, hair always leaves us (black) girls wanting more and her clothes always "wow-ing" us. I have got to say, I never know what to expect from Rihanna and she keeps me on my toes waiting for her to do the next best thing. She is definitely one of my idols! ( Just incase you didn't know). She is just one of those people that can rock anything and have many others trying to copy. Reb'l Fleur is her next best thing i must say.

The first time i came across Reb'l Fleur was at Macy's. It was a coincidence that i was there on the same day it was launched. The Sales Rep. chatted my friend and I about it and of course it didn't take me too long to be sold! I love EVERYTHING Rihanna. The sales rep. gave us portable samples which I am yet to use it because i wanna wear it out until i get my actual bottle.

Macy's sell the 3.4oz bottle for $59.00 and the 1.7 oz for $49.00 ( i don't think anyone would wanna buy half the size of the big one with a $10 difference). When i was at Macy's they were also giving out this cute black zippered clutch for FREE with a purchase of a 3.4 oz bottle.

Lastly, her Reb'l Fleur video ad was just released two days ago (Feb 10th). Its very unique and very Rihanna and i like that aspect of it but I find it a tad bit lengthy. Then again i have the attention span of a snail. .
I will definitely get this fragrance sooner or later. I have read some pretty good reviews about it. I love Rihanna and i love the way Reb'l Fleur smells. Like i said earlier, i do not have a lot of experience with perfumes so you cannot fully rely on my review/opinion on it.
Katy Perry is a music artist well known for her out of the world nail art, like when she had now husband Russell Brand on her Nails at the VMAs.

Katy Perry partnered up with OPI to release a new line of polishes.There are five lacquers, four of them have some type of glitter/metallic to it and the fifth is black shatter which is a black top coat that looks like any black nail polish but dries up to form a crackled effect.

My favorite is of course Black Shatter. I also love The One that got Away and Not Like the Movies.
I love Black Shatter so much that i put it on every nail polish i use. I love that it forms different crackled shapes that kind of resemble leopard prints. This nail lacquer is perfect for people like me who aren't really good at nail art because you can achieve the nail art look without doing much work. Personally, the only down side i find in Black Shatter is, it can make your nails look dark and like i mentioned in my previous post i love colorful; out there nails. However, it is still my favorite.
I only bought three of the swatches that i mentioned above and i got mine from the JCP Salon for $8.50 per bottle.
They are also available at Ulta, Trade Secret, Regis and Ricky's. They might be available places but i am not too certain.
There are several things i obsess over and nail polish is one of them. I have about 20 nail polishes in my collection so far, some got really dry ( thanks to my very careful friends) and some just didn't appeal to me after a while. Luckily one of my roommates, Paula is also big on nail polishes too and has probably over 50 bottles and everything under God's sun when it comes to nails. I also influenced my other roommate Nicole, who never painted her nails to start painting them and now she is building up her own collection . We now have nail polish sessions in our room and we love it!. I generally like flashy/abstract nail colors like bright pinks, bright teal (one of my favorites), and strange colors like Chincilly by Essie which is also one of my favorites. My new found love is the Katy Perry by OPI collection. I will dedicate another post just to the Katy Perry by OPI collection and also the Glam Slam- Serena Williams by OPI collection. So stay on the look out for it.:)
I have always wanted to start a blog but i have always doubted myself. I have realized that i shouldn't limit myself because of what i think people will think. You will never know what people truly think until you go for it. Besides it doesn't hurt to try. So here it goes, my first blog written at the gym, where i work. I will be blogging about beauty products that i buy, or share information on things i have done research on and also random thoughts/happenings i feel like sharing. I am not one of the hard core bloggers that buy products every week to review so you shouldn't expect too much of that; I am too broke for that lol. I hope this will be the start to something great and i hope you guys follow me, leave comments and even share my blog post with others.
